Today, CEO Marc Sale is at Pettigrew, joined by Geologist Chris Cooper, Professor Mary Louise Hill and Brenden Kanan from Emerald Geological Services (EGS).

The team is reviewing Brenden’s mapping of the different strain zones and quartz structures, alongside the results from the recent channel sampling.

The team is bringing different perspectives together to build a clearer understanding of the geological setting and mineralisation at Pettigrew.

In the next update, Professor Mary Louise Hill is taking a close-up look at the deformation within the rocks, examining the structures and textures that can help reveal the geological story. Chris and Brenden are doing likewise, each bringing their own expertise to the detailed study of the rocks.

It’s a hands-on, collaborative approach as the team work to understand the geological story - every detail matters.

As the observations come together, an intriguing question is emerging: what formed these recessed sections of the landscape - and could they be associated with gold-bearing mineralisation?
