First Class Metals (LON: FCM) is widely recognised for its gold exploration success, but its Zigzag Lithium Project presents a compelling, underappreciated opportunity. Located in Northern Ontario—a tier-one jurisdiction—the project sits near Green Technology Metals’ Seymour Project, a future lithium production hub, positioning Zigzag as a strategic asset in an evolving lithium district.

With the global lithium market expected to tighten as demand surges for electric vehicles and battery storage, Zigzag has already delivered high-grade lithium drilling results. The project also contains critical technology metals like rubidium and caesium, enhancing its economic potential. As major automakers and industry players invest in securing lithium supply, Zigzag’s location and ESG-friendly infrastructure could make it a valuable acquisition target.
