First Class Metals - Drilling Commenced at North Hemlo
First Class Metals PLC (LSE: FCM) confirms that, as detailed in the recent RNS announcement, drilling has now officially commenced at the North Hemlo Property in Ontario, Canada. This marks a significant advancement in the company’s exploration strategy within one of the most prospective regions for gold and critical minerals in the Hemlo belt.
Supported by the recently secured convertible loan note, the programme includes a minimum of 700 metres of NQ diamond core drilling. The first drill pads have been established along the highly prospective Dead Otter Trend, beginning in the “19 grammer” area. Additional collar locations along the structure have been prioritised to expand geological understanding and test multiple target zones.
Interpretation of the ongoing Very Low Frequency (VLF) geophysical survey continues to refine drill targeting. Early modelling is expected to highlight further structural and geochemical anomalies to support continued exploration along this emerging mineralised corridor.
This drilling campaign represents an important step in unlocking the potential of North Hemlo, a key asset within First Class Metals’ Ontario exploration portfolio. Investors are encouraged to follow updates as drilling progresses and as assay results become available.
Full details are available in the accompanying RNS, and further information can be found on the company’s website.
